  A Nigerian lady has shared her experience with an immigration official who was allegedly processing passports without wearing face mask and gloves.    The lady who disclosed that she lost a friend to Coronavirus, alleged that her passport was seized after she started raising her voice.    @Temitope_Olagbegi added that when she demanded to see the highest authority, she was told to delete the photos and videos she took.    She wrote;    It was a heart breaking experience for me coming into the country to see the Nigerian Immigration not wearing masks.   The World Health Organization has announced that China has blocked its team investigating the origins of the coronavirus pandemic, from entering the country. WHO Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus made the announcement on Wednesday, January 6, saying two scientists on the United Nations team had already left their home countries for Wuhan when they were told that Chinese government had not approved the necessary permissions required for them to enter the country. WHO said the arrangements had been jointly agreed with China in advance.   The Lagos University Teaching Hospital LUTH has warned that the second wave of COVID19 is easily transmittable and deadlier than the first one.   The hospital in an advisory issued by its Chief Medical Director, Professor Chris Bode, warned Nigerians to take very seriously all the COVID19 protocols.   According to Professor Bode, the hospital has seen an upsurge of people treating malaria instead of going for COVID19 test.   A Portuguese health worker has died two days after getting the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.   41-year-old Sonia Acevedo, who worked in paediatrics at the Portuguese Institute of Oncology in Porto, suffered a 'sudden death' at home on New Year's Day 48 hours after receiving the jab.    The mother-of-two is not said to have suffered any adverse side-effects after being vaccinated, Mail Online reported.    Ms. Acevedo's father Abilio Acevedo told Portuguese daily Correio da Manha that he got the call to say her daughter had been found dead around 11am last Friday morning hours after they ate together on New Years Eve, adding: 'My daughter left home and I never saw her alive again.'   'She was okay.   Many people have contracted the deadly coronavirus in Lagos state with about 4,000 of them being treated at home.   A well-known divorce lawyer in Connecticut, US, killed his wife, who had Coronavirus, before turning the gun on himself in a Christmas Day murder-suicide, according to police authorities.   John Liquori, 59, fatally shot Cindy Liquori, 55, before shooting and killing himself on Friday at his mother inlaw's home in Windsor Locks, about 15 miles north of Hartford, the Hartford Courant reports.   Police say Cindy had COVID-19 and John may have had it.   According to Windsor Locks Detective Sgt. Jeff Lampson, Cindy was dog-sitting for her mother, Claire Palmer, while the mum was being treated for covid at a local hospital. Police now say they believe there is no evidence that the couple, who shared one child, happened to be estranged.
