  A 25-year-old man in Ekiti identified as Chibuike Njokwu, who allegedly bit his girlfriend’s breast while they were having a fight has landed in a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ado-Ekiti. The Prosecution Counsel, Insp. Oriyomi Akinwale told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Dec. 24 at about 7 a.m in Ado-Ekiti. Akinwale alleged that the defendant, bit Ifunanya Okonkwo on her left breast, inflicting her with a deep cut. He said the defendant, who was a boyfriend to the complainant, attacked her during an altercation. The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of Section 335 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ekiti State, 2012.   No fewer than 30 persons have reportedly been kidnapped from Dandume community in Katsina State in the early hours of Wednesday, December 30.   HumAngle reports that dozens of gunmen trekked into the villages, shooting and shouting at the same time. The gunmen reportedly invaded the communities of Garin Albasu, Ilalar Gangare and Unguwar Sallah in Dandume Local Government.   A resident of Garin Albasu, Sadisu Rabe, said    ''They stormed our village around 1 am and abducted more than 20 people including women and children”.   A 46-year-old woman who raped her son’s friend in their home has been jailed for 10 years. The woman identified as Su Hyon Dillon, 46, was sentenced to 10 years to life earlier this month after she pleaded guilty to first-degree child rape and second-degree child rape last month,  The News Tribune reports.
