BRAVE DOG HAILED A HERO AFTER PROTECTING MISSING CHILD.


A dog is being hailed a hero, after it stayed by a 2-year-old for two days while the girl wandered about lost in the woods.

The child, Charlee Campbell, went missing from her grandmother's home.

  Search crews were sent to find her for the two days the child went missing
 She was found safe the second day.

  Whill she was gone, her loyal pit bull named Penny never left her side until they both arrived home safely.

  Not only did Penny stay with Charlee, It also ensured the child didn't sustain serious injuries, But she was later taken to the hospital for proper check up.

  The grandmother of the child, Said she believes Penny stayed by her granddaughters side the entire time she was missing, She said this after calling the dog an "hero" for protecting her granddaughter.

  Despite Charlee returning home safe with her beloved dog Penny, The police are still conducting an investigation into her disappearance.
