200 COUPLES TIE THE KNOT IN MASS WEDDING CEREMONY IN ANAMBRA

 There was a mass-wedding ceremony held in a community in Anambra state and it has got people talking.

According to reports, Two hundred couples got married same day at Saint Theresa’s Catholic Church, Uzoakwa, Ihiala in Ihiala Council Area in Anambra State.

The ceremony held on Friday, December 18, was presided over by the Auxiliary Bishop of Umuahia, Diocese, Most Reverend Dr. Michael Ukpong.


Addressing the gathering during reception, Transition Committee Chairman of Ihiala Local Government Area, Mr. Jude Obiwuru defined the wedding as a great thing aimed at channeling the minds of the couples to raising Godly children, who will be good ambassador of the state.
